Why parents do not feel embarrassed when they watch indecent things?

She was 16 when she made her debut in the role of Peshawe Madhavrao's wife Ramabai in the Marathi TV serial Swami. She has a Master's degree in Linguistics from Pune University; however, she has continued with acting as her career on receiving, after the success of Swami, many more roles, including those in Shrikant, a TV serial based on one of Saratchandra Chatterjee's novels; The Great Maratha; Draupadi; Hasratein; Meerabai; Teacher; Khel; Sparsh; and Sonpari were well appreciated. Her role in the TV serial Avantika on Alpha Marathi channel has received much acclaim.
She works in entertainment sector, but she has never compromised unlike her other colleagues in this glamourous field. She has altogether different views. Mrinal Kulkarni pained when she heard about gangrape incidents. She said, “This is an act by the persons with perverted minds. At the same time parents should have check on their wards especially their wardrobe. Secondly I strongly feel that all these bad things come from TV so in our houses we should stop watching TV and inculcate the habit of reading among children. For this, parents have to have check on themselves. TV has damaged a lot”
Mrinal Kulkarni who was in city to be the chief guest for all women IMA team installation. She pointed, “It is not enough to display the protest on blogs. We should teach our children the gender equality. We should check how our daughters present themselves. Like Cinema, TV too should be censored. Whey parents do not feel embarrassed when they watch indecent things?”
Mrinal for the first ever time has directed a movie with all biggies like Sachin Khedekar, beautiful Pallavi Joshi, Sunil Barve, legendary Dr Mohan Agashe, Smita Talwalkar, Suhas Joshi. The name of the movie is ‘Prem Mhanje Kay Aste?’
“It was altogether different experience. I used to be on the other side of the camera. It was difficult to be on this side of camera and direct movie. It was tiring. Nagpur’s Manisha Korde has written the dialogues for my movie. I happy with this work after being in acting for 20 years,” said Kulkarni.
On being asked why her role of Ramabai or her modelling in Vicco is still unforgettable, the instantaneous reply from Mrinal Kulkarni was-- first love always enchants us for longer time.
IMA’s former National President Dr Ashok Adhao, Professional Protection Schemes’ (IMA) National President Dr Krishna Parate, incoming president Dr Warsha Dhawale, Secretary Dr Vaishali Khandait, outgoing President Dr Harish Chandak, Secretary Dr Ashish Disawal, President Elect Dr Sanjay Deshpande, Past Presidents Dr Prashant Nikhade, Dr Anand Kate and others were present.

Scrub Typhus's first caseconfirmed from Central India

    By Vikas Vaidya WHEN 45 year-old Kusum Wankhede of Kolhu village, Katol tehsil came to Indira Gandhi Government Medical College and Hospital (IGGMCH), nobody thought that her case would throw a light on new disease as far as medical fraternity of Central India is concerned. She had multi-organ dysfunction with involvement of liver, kidneys, lungs and meningitis and her platelets were reduced. Malaria and Dengue were suspected and ruled out by specific blood tests. Scrub Typhus was suspected when careful examination revealed a black mark (left by mite’s bite) called eschar was noticed over the patient’s right side of the chest. The eschar, which occurs at the site where the mite bites is the single most clinical diagnostic clue.
